π¦ The Call of the Lion
Welcome, lionhearted one ❤️
I am no guru, no teacher, no role model.
I am simply a human being — like you.
And I am divine — like you.
I am a lion.
I am a force of nature.
Sometimes a gentle breeze, a warm summer’s day.
Sometimes a cleansing, thunderous storm.
What I share here are thoughts and experiences that move me. They come from my time in an ashram, from encounters with systems that shaped me, and from the everyday moments in which life itself becomes a mirror. Sometimes, it’s about the bigger picture — politics, society, spirituality. Sometimes, it’s about the small and intimate — silence, doubt, a conversation that lingers.
I write to understand. To uncover what we often prefer to hide. To remind us that honesty and authenticity are not just virtues — they are doors: doors into ourselves, into the divine that lives within us all.
I am just another you. π₯²
We are mirrors. We are one. There is no author here, only experience. No I vs. You — only We. Everything written here is already within you.
And of course, I am not perfect! I stumble, I doubt, I am sometimes contradictory, never polished. But I do not pretend. I am simply myself — and that is (my) superpower.
I am soft and strong at once.
Clear, even when truth unsettles.
Loving, even when love cuts.
Heart & Claws — to me, this means holding tenderness and fierceness in the same breath.
What you will find here are not ready-made answers. They are invitations. To think, to feel, to remember. To your own greatness. To the wild, divine spark within you.
What is The Call of the Lion?
It is the call of your divine core to yourself.
It is the remembrance that the Lion — Jesus, the Lion of Judah, Jah, Hari (a name for the Hindu god Vishnu, which also means lion), or even Aslan in Narnia’s myth — is not outside of you, but alive within you.
So the Lion does not tower above you.
For he breathes in your chest,
he whispers in your bones,
he roars through your own voice.
And he calls you.
π₯ He clears away what is false.
π He guards what is fragile.
π± He opens space where new life can grow.
π¦ His claws strike only for truth, justice, freedom, and love — never for cruelty.
He does not roar to command. He calls, and if you hear it, it is for you — for the uniqueness in you, for the life you bring, for the presence only you can offer.
Why this blog?
Because we live in a time where truth matters.
Where authenticity matters.
Where care and courage belong together.
Around us, injustice, unfreedom, and cruelty are growing. Human rights are violated, fear and anger are projected onto others, and oppression takes many forms — from systemic inequality to blatant acts of violence. Fascist ideologies are on the rise, and cruelty to animals and people alike is becoming more visible, more normalized.
It is easier than ever to lose sight of what is sacred in life, to become numb or distracted, to turn away from what truly matters. But the real work now is to look inward, hold ourselves accountable, and act with awareness. Protecting life, justice, and dignity — for all beings — does not diminish us. It expands the space in which everyone can live with freedom and care.
This is not about perfection or heroic acts. It is about small, conscious steps: noticing, questioning, speaking, acting — with love, clarity, and courage.
Here, you will find words — sometimes tender, sometimes sharp. Many carry claws, because they name what hurts, what fractures, what is raw. Yet beneath the claws is always the heart: the impulse to stay true, to process, to release, to let go with love.
Writing these articles is a way of holding life honestly. In writing, I remember. In sharing, I invite reflection. Perhaps they will reach someone else, perhaps awaken a truth long held dormant.
What to expect
π Articles first. Reflections, fragments, questions. Some will be uncomfortable, others tender. They are not polished answers but living traces of a search for authenticity. In writing them, I help myself loosen what is heavy — and perhaps they help you remember something of yourself.
π Possibilities later. If the words resonate, if a few people feel the same hunger, something more may grow: exchanges, gatherings, even communities. But nothing is forced. The Lion’s call is enough on its own, and whatever grows beyond it will grow naturally.
π Freedom always.
A network. A web. An invitation. A space that is free — and held with care. Not a course. Not a coaching program. Not a business model. No gurus. No funnels.
The aim
There is no agenda here.
Only life. Only connection. Only dignity.
The Call of the Lion doesn’t want to make you into someone else.
It invites you to remember what you already are.
So, my beloved soul,
I'm so glad you found your way here –
your presence lights this place.
If you read and something resonates — stay.
If one day you leave — go with a full heart.
This space belongs to no one.
And yet, it belongs to us all.
❤️ππ
Yours and mine,
I & I π¦
