π¦ The Call of the Lion
Welcome, lionhearted one ❤️
I am simply a human being, just like you. And I am divine, just like you.
I stumble, I doubt, I am sometimes contradictory, never polished. This is not about perfection. It is about small, conscious steps: noticing, questioning, speaking, acting — with love, clarity, and courage. I am soft and strong at once. Clear, even when clarity unsettles. Loving, even when love cuts.
Heart & Claws — to me, this means holding tenderness and fierceness in the same breath. Sometimes a gentle breeze, a warm summer’s day. Sometimes a cleansing, thunderous storm.
My words are sometimes tender, sometimes sharp. Many carry claws, because they name what hurts, what fractures, what is raw. Yet beneath the claws is always the heart: the impulse to stay true, to process, to release, to let go with love.
What I share here are thoughts and experiences that move me. They come from encounters with systems that shaped me and from the everyday moments in which life itself becomes a mirror.
Sometimes, it’s about the bigger picture — politics, society, spirituality. Sometimes, it’s about the small and intimate — silence, doubt, a conversation that lingers. Sometimes it’s frustration or anger that motivate me to write; other times, it’s the wonders I experience.
I write to understand. To un-cover. To re-member and to re-mind. What you will find here are not ready-made answers. They are invitations. To think, to feel, to re-discover your own greatness. The wild, divine spark within you.
What is The Call of the Lion?
It is the call of your divine core to yourself.
It is the remembrance that the Lion
Jesus, the Lion of Judah, YHWH, Jah, Hari
is not outside of you,
but alive within you.
So the Lion does not tower above you.
π₯ He clears away what is false.
π He guards what is fragile.
π± He opens space where new life can grow.
π¦ His claws strike only for truth, justice, freedom, and love — never for cruelty.
He does not roar to command.
He calls,
The Call of the Lion doesn't want
to make you into someone else.
It invites you to remember
what you already are.
Why this blog?
Because we live in a time
where remembering matters.
Where truth matters.
Where authenticity matters.
Where care and courage
belong together.
There is so much in our world
that asks for our attention —
the ways we disconnect
from ourselves, from each other,
and from the living world around us.
But looking outward is only part of the journey.
The real work begins within:
- to question ourselves,
- to soften where we have become rigid,
- to become aware of the ways we separate —
and to return, again and yet again,
to what connects us.
Protecting life, justice, and dignity
— for all beings — does not come
from seeing ourselves as separate
from the world.
It comes from remembering
that we are part of it.
πππ
The path is not about
becoming someone who
never makes mistakes,
never judges,
never struggles...
It is about remembering
that we are already whole —
and learning to live from that remembrance.
Not becoming someone else.
But allowing what was always there
to express itself more fully.
This is the essence of Heart & Claws:
A heart tender enough to embrace all of life.
Claws fierce enough to pierce through illusion.
And the wisdom to use them only in service of love.
So the goal is not to lose the claws.
It is to learn how to hold them so gently
that even when they cut through illusion,
love remains in the hand that holds them.
Because
true compassion does not look away —
and true strength does not forget to love.
❤️ππ
Yours and mine,
I & I π¦
